Last day of swim lessons and feeling under the weather

Friday was a very busy day for us! We started the day by dropping off Ace at Nana's house while G and I went to the Y for a farewell party for Shari, one of the toddler time helpers. She is moving to KC because her husband got a job there. Ace wasnt feeling well again so we dropped him off with Nana. We picked up Ace and got ready for G's final swimming lesson. Nana and Auntie Maci joined us at the Mason's for the lesson so they could cheer G on! She did so wonderful but she was very worn out after 5 days of swimming! We celebrated by meeting Daddy, Gordon and Gloria  at McD's and she got to play for 40 minutes BEFORE we ate (not a common thing for us..I am learning to let the small things slide:) and then eat her favorite, Cheese Hamburg, apples and chocolate milk. Aww the joys of childhood:) After naps we went to the Dr. and found out Ace had the start of a sinus infection...boo! G was on the verge of it as well so we got Rx for both kiddos. Hopefully we can kick it soon!

Poor fella. You can tell he doesnt feel well:(

Kicking with the dolphin!

:) What a ornery little gal!

Cooling down eating popsicles

Enjoying his lemonade popsicle. He was a sticky mess after!
On Saturday we started the day going on a walk with Dawn and Kadence. It was sprinkling when we started and by the time we got back we were all sweating! It was so humid. Then we went to the library and spent time reading new books and playing in the child area. G is participating in the summer reading program, Reading around the World, and she reached her 1st goal, so she got to do the grab bag and got another rubber duck for the tub! We have a family of rubber ducks. We spent the evening at the Martin's. We BBQ'd and played all evening!
Our 4 ft puzzle we did from the library!

Today we have gone for our weekly shopping trip to Walmart and had Maci join us! Gentry has been very good lately so she picked out a bubble toy there and she played with it while we watered the plants outside. The rest of the day shall (we hope!) be pretty chill! Whew what a crazy last few days!
