Birthday, babysitters and swimming!

Friday was daddys 27th birthday! We started the day with Whole Wheat Vanilla Bean Banana Blueberry pancakes made with love by mommy:) They were delicioso (as Dora would say) if I may say so! We got him his new favorite cologne, LaCoste Essential Sport. After he opened it up to spray some on, G insisted that she wear some of his new "parfume" as well. We went to the Y that morning and then over to Nanas house to put colour on her hair. We were pleasently surprised to see Nana B there as well. She had spent the evening there. We took naps, went to Nanas and headed out to Walmart for the weekly trip. Afterwards G wanted to go to McDonalds to get the new "Strawberry Showaacake" toys. So we had Papa meet us there for a super healthy (NOT) dinner. It was nice to eat with just Papa, as we dont get to spend alot of time with just him. That evening the most monumental sound happened, Ace said MAMA! My heart was on cloud 9:) G and I were jumping up and down screaming we were so happy:)
My new shampoo from QVC that is like liquid gold! The whole family has used it and we all love it.

The pancakes I made for Luke's birthday

Birthday boy, G and the yummy cake

Saturday morning we met Dawn and Kadence for a walk. We ended up walking 4 miles! Good thing we went early because there was a heat advisory that afternoon:/ When we got back we decided that we had to finish celebrating Daddy's birthday with the double layer German Chocolate cake we made. It was awesome! (Daddy has been in the member guest golf tournament at the Country Club this weekend so he has been gone alot.) That evening we had Maddie Chandler come over to babysit while we went to the dinner at the Country Club. It was the first time for her to watch the beans but by the report from them, she will be back! (Ace didnt have much say when we asked him)
All gussied up and heading to dinner, in the mini van no less:)

Today we went to church. Luke and I ended up missing 97% of the service due to the separation anxiety Mr Ace K seems to be experiencing. The last 3 Sundays we have not been able to sit in the sanctuary and listen so we opt for the cry room where little Ace is happily being rocked by his mama:) I do cherish those moments though, because at home I dont get the chance to do that much with G always wanting some mommy and me time during his naps. As part of the member guest tournament, the families are welcome to use the pool so we took advantage of it! G practiced her kicks, and her "chocolate M&M" arm movements. I am sure it sounds really funny to other people to see a little girl moving her arms and saying flavors! Ha:) Ace splashed and layed back in my arms and relaxed. I think we have 2 little fish:)  In other exciting news, G now has around 6 freckles on her face and a few on her arms AND she can now take her shirt off all by herself! She is very proud of both things:) Ace also has his 5th tooth coming in on the top! Yay for little dinosaur chompers!
Heading to the pool! Chillaxin in his animal trunks

Silly G

Tried for a while to get a picture of them both looking but Ace was fixated
on some 40-something gal in her bikini! Great...

Relaxing in the pool

♥ these two beyond belief!

He was so cold!
